We encourage men through building authentic friendships. Studies show a majority of men have never had a friend. Through encouragement, men are challenged to be courageous and supported by other men who shape and sharpen them. One root word for ENCOURAGE means to “enlarge the heart”, we see this ministry as one that expands men’s hearts!

Our Approach
To help men discover their Biblical position within the body of Christ and build awareness and application of their spiritual gifts for the building up of themselves, their families and the church, all while sustaining their spiritual growth and reliance on the Word of God and the power of prayer. This ministry is about men living life with real purpose. We achieve this by targeting and developing attitudes of true worship, fellowship, discipleship, ministry and evangelism.
Our Goal
First: Demonstrate faith, trust and commitment to the Lord’s Word in everyday activities.
Second: Develop an in-reach ministry for the men to prosper in their faith.
Third: Develop and sustain “Discipleship” principles and practices to build-up men who are new and growing in their maturity. The key theme is captured in Proverbs 27:17: “As iron sharpens iron so one man sharpens another.”
fourth: Support Church leadership’s vision, goals and on going programs.
Fifth: Minister to the local community with event development, participation, support and outreach for the lost.
BIBLE STUDIES
Men's Bible studies are a vital part of our Men's Ministry - These studies are 6 weeks long and take place twice a year. The first study begins in Feb. or March, the second study begins in Sept. or Oct. Be sure and check the church calendar for exact start dates.
Steak Outs - Twice a year - These are informal meetings where men gather around a fire pit and enjoy a meal and fellowship. Usually in the month of March and September
